Familiar & New Faces Alike
Amber Sipes
Amber Sipes has 14+ years of experience in pet grooming and care. She has over 10 years of experience as a canine obedience instructor, therapy dog tester, and is a certified Canine Good Citizen (CGC) evaluator with the AKC as well as a therapy dog evaluator. Striving to be involved in the dog world as much as possible, Amber has titled and trained dogs in multiple venues such as conformation, obedience, barn hunt, coursing ability, search & rescue, Rally obedience, and therapy dog (TDI). She is currently training and working with her personal dogs Aquilla, Doberman Pinscher, Chainsaw, Affenpinscher, and Vintage, Cliché, Etiquette, & Extra, all Standard Poodles, in agility, obedience, conformation, and scent work. Roman, her Doberman Pinscher, is now happily retired. She is also the proud owner of Vintage Country Pet Resort.
Katie Sayers
Katie has 10+ years of experience in pet grooming and care. She is currently the head groomer at VCPR as well as a certified CGC & S.T.A.R. Puppy evaluator. Katie has titled and trained her personal dogs, Larry, an All American, Confetti & Croc, Lowchen, and Venture, Sequin, & Gossip, all Standard Poodles, in multiple venues such as obedience, rally obedience, barn hunt, agility, scent work, and therapy dog. Larry is now happily retired. She is currently focusing on agility and obedience.
Lauren Chikosky
Lauren has 7+ years of experience in pet care. She is the head kennel attendant and receptionist. Lauren has titled and trained her personal dogs in multiple venues such as conformation, obedience, barn hunt, coursing ability, rally obedience, dock diving, agility, and scent work. She is currently focusing on agility, herding, and barn hunt.
Kendra Draa
Kendra has been employed with VCPR since August 2020 as a full-time kennel attendant and part-time bather. She is currently focusing her time on her career. Kendra currently owns Scout, an Australian Cattle Dog, and two German Shorthaired Pointers, Beau & Tuck.
